   Brown's Cottage is situated in the quiet suberb of Lakeside on the edge of the Constantia Valley. Just 25 minutes from the centre of Cape Town and Table Mountain, the cottage is ideally located for both tourists and business visitors alike. The house is extremely well situated to enjoy all that Cape Town and the peninsula has to offer. We are a few minutes drive away from the wine farms of Costantia, Table Mountain National Park and 4 Major Golf Courses (Royal Cape, Steenberg, Clovelly and Westlake Golf Club is a 2 minute drive). The historical seaside towns of Muizenberg, St. James and Kalk Bay are within five minutes drive providing beaches, restaurants, arts & crafts and spectacular whale watching in spring and early summer (sept -Nov). The beautiful Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens is only 15 minutes away, and there are several shopping centres within a few minutes drive.  The local supermarket is a five minute walk away where there is also a pizzaria, chinese restaurant/take away and a pub. There is easy access to the major routes out of Cape Town for Day trips to the Winelands of Stellenbosch or along the spectacular coastline to Hermanus.

 

Property Description

  Brown's cottage is tastefully decorated and can accommodate up to seven guests in three bedrooms with flexible combinations of single and double beds to suit your needs. The master bedroom has an en-suite with basin, toilet and shower. There is also a family bathroom with basin, toilet and a separate bath and shower. There is a well equipped kitchen that opens into the spacious lounge and dining area from which there are sliding doors to the garden.
      Outside, the garden has a sparkling pool with lounging patio, a built-in BBQ and a shady dining area. The pool area is fenced for the safety of your children. We provide linen which is changed on a weekly basis, along with bath and hand towels. The property is North facing and is surrounded by stunning mountain views from Constantiaberg right around to Table Mountain and the Devils Peak.
