Accommodation is in our 18th century Bigourdane, a large farmhouse typical of the region, which has been recently renovated in keeping with the traditional style. All rooms are decorated and furnished to ensure a high standard of comfort We provide accommodation for all parties (max. capacity 15 people) and this can be either on the bases of self-catering rental homes (gites) or bed-and-breakfast.'Higher Pastures' is the ideal place for getting away and relaxing, whether it be in the garden, around the pastureland or in the pool. It is the ideal starting point for many excellent walks, runs and bike rides.These take you through woodlands and small villages, up hill and over dale where everyone can chose his level of intensity. The location also allows easy access to the valley for sight-seeing, shopping and tourism. Day outings to the Parc National des Pyrénées (together with the favourite tourist spots of Gavarnie, Cauterets and le Pont d'Espagne) take you on a journey of discovery, past the stunning peaks, high-altitude lakes and unique flora and fauna. Beneficial spas can be found in nearby thermal resorts renowned for the quality of their water and their specialist treatments.
