Le Cerisier is a spacious 3 bedroomed gite in a complex of three (together with Le Sapin and Le Petit Recoin) with shared swimming pool and gardens. This gite is on the outskirts of the village of St Juire Champgillon and is rurally located making it an ideal place to walk and cycle, with many tracks and lanes. The gite comprises on the 1st floor one double bedroom and one bedroom with a set of bunk beds. The ground floor comprises one twin bedroom, bathroom with shower, wc and wash basin and a large open plan lounge, kitchen/dining area. Because of the layout of this gite it is ideal for disabled and people with reduced mobility. Directly outside the gite there is a BBQ and seating area with umbrella for shade. The site has a large shared swimming pool and childrens splash pool, grassed around with sunloungers, all walled and gated to regulation for safety. Le Cerisier is on the oustkirts of the picturesque village of St Juire Champgillon, just a 5 minute walk away, which boasts a Restaurant/Bar/Shop, rural Post Office and Hairdressers. The next village - just a 5 minute drive, has a supermarket, banks, bars, restaurants. It is ideally located for cycling and walking with many dirt tracks and small lanes which let you explore the vast countryside, with pretty fields of sunflowers, tranquil lakes and rural life. The gite is also positioned about a 10 minute drive from the main access motorway A83, junction 7 and makes it ideal for going to the beaches - La Tranche Sur Mer and La Rochelle, both a 45 minute drive away. Le Grand Parc Puy du Fou is a 40 minute drive and is an excellent day out (or more!) for adults and children. |
