Constructed in 1710, this non working farm offers the choice of three characteristic holiday gites in the Morbihan area of Brittany which can be rented seperately or together. Choose between
Le Pressoir which sleeps 10, La Grange which sleeps 7 or Gilles which also sleeps 7.

These rural morbihan gites are situated around a large courtyard and overlooking the undulating countryside of southern Brittany with surrounding fields on three aspects and a rural walkway on the fourth .

The farm is situated in a secluded position with no passing traffic, yet with in easy reach of MEDIEVAL TOWNS towns such as Vannes and Auray and the beautiful BEACHES of southern Brittany and the Morbihan region, such as Quiberon and of course Carnac where you will also be able to see the “alignments de Carnac” or “Menhirs, the famous standing stones. Plus excellent shopping at Pontivy, Lorient and Vannes. Situated within easy reach of the N24 these morbihan gites are centrally located .

Adjacent to the property, there is a chemin rural (rural walkway)which leads down through the woods to the river Evel, offering EXCELLENT FISHING and WALKING trails. The gites offer the peace of rural cottage holiday lets with the added bonus of beaches and towns with in easy reach.

Origionally constructed as a presbytery and chapel in 1710, with the chapel disappearing at a later date to give way to farm buildings. Today the farm is set in 7 acres, with two acres of garden, overlooking the undulating countryside of southern Brittany. Situated in a secluded position with no passing traffic other than cars to our property and that of our one neighbour. Watch the sun rise over the Maize, celeriac and harricot fields surrounding us to the east of the property and the glorious sunsets over the grass cow field to the west of the property, set against the back drop of rural Brittany.

For those peaceful strolls, there is a chemin rural adjacent to the property which leads down to the woods and river. The river Evel offers excellent fishing, and the chemin rural continues on a marked route through the surrounding countryside and on to the nearest village of Guénin.

The surrounding fields are world famous for producing naturally occuring "cross stones". These are as the name suggests, stones in the form of a cross said to bring good luck to the bearer! May be you will be lucky and find one whilst you are here. Ask us and we will show you our examples. Also check the grounds for four leaf clover, it seems to grow here in abundance!

The local village, Guénin, is 3km from the property by road and although small offers a Boulangerie, Bibliotheque, Lake (with pedalos, climbing frame, swings, mini golf, small paddling pool and fishing) and three small bars. The nearest grocery shopping is located at the town of Baud (3km from the gites)and offers other amenities such as banks, supermarkets,pharmacy and doctors. Alternatively there is the pretty town of Locmine, or a little further a field, Pontivy.

Situated within easy reach of the N24 the property is centrally located to medieval market towns such as Auray and Vannes, which are a must to visit when in the Morbihan area of Brittany, as well as larger towns such as Lorient. Also situated about 30 – 40 minutes from the beautiful southern beaches of Brittany – including Quiberon and Carnac where you will also be able to see the “alignments de Carnac” or “Menhirs, the famous standing stones
