The
Quintassential Algarve Holiday apartment cottages are 4 self catering
apartment cottages, 1200 feet above sea level in the Central Algarve
all with sea views & equipped, furnished & decorated to very
high standards & 15 minutes from the airport.  The
Quintassential is open all year round so that guests can enjoy the 3000
hours of sunshine the Algarve has to offer. We understand that with low
cost airlines it may be better to travel on days other than Sunday or
Thursday, so we are flexible with our arrival and departure days.  The
apartment cottages can be let individually or together for large
parties and the cottages cater from 2 – 13 people and there is large
pool, heated during the winter months and a freestanding hot tub spa
jacuzzi.  There are three one bedroom accommodations and a
large two bedroom apartment cottage. Two of the accommodations also
have gas central heating.  The
Quintassential occupies an acre of hilltop set, totally fenced and
accessed via electric gates in breathtaking Algarvian countryside in
the centre of the sunny Algarve in total peace & tranquillity 15
minutes from Faro International Airport & the coast and overlooking
the market town of Loulé. There are spectacular panoramic sea views
from Faro to Portimao. Parts of the Quintassential date back to mid
19th Century and are divided up into four cottages, one large two
bedroom apartment cottage, Orange and two newer one bedroom apartment
cottages, Lemon and Carob and a rustic duplex cottage, Casa do Forno.  All
have their own separate entrances, own kitchens, private south-facing
sun terraces and Bar-B-Q areas. All accommodations have been furnished
to a very high standard with cane and pine furniture.    The
Casa Do Forno Cottage is a one bedroom rustic duplex cottage tastefully
decorated and boasting many original features from the old Quinta. This
cottage has oodles of character.  The bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and sloping cane ceilings with wooden beams and white washed walls.  The bathroom has a shower with a tiled seating area, WC and washbasin with a vanity unit under.  The
crows nest lounge area has spectacular views and has a radio/CD player
with MP3 reader (guests to bring own CDs), puzzles, chess set, domino
set and playing cards.   It is furnished with comfortable cane seats, terracotta flooring and also has the original cane ceiling with wooden beams.  The walls are also white washed.The
rustic kitchen/dining area has the original bread oven dating back to
the 19th century and stone sink from the Quinta. The kitchen comprises
of fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, mini electric oven,
electric kettle, toaster, filter coffee machine, hand held blender and
gas hob.  The kitchen/dining area also has the cane
ceiling with wooden beams and has the typical Algarvian décor of white
washed walls. From the dining area there are doors leading on to a
completely private terrace with Bar-B-Q, table and chairs and cushioned
reclining chairs. There is also a wood burning stove for the cooler
winter evenings make the cottage very cosy.   The
Casa Do Forno Cottage has its own garden with a further rustic seating
area and is surrounded by an abundance of beautiful flowers and shrubs.  Here in the secluded garden you will experience some of the most breathtaking sunsets that the Algarve has to offer.   The Casa Do Forno Cottage sleeps a maximum of 2 adults only.The
Orange Cottage is the largest of the apartment cottages at
Quintassential, a large two bedroom rustic cottage decorated in typical
Algarvian décor of white washed walls and with a brand new fully fitted
modern kitchen including an electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer,
dishwasher, microwave, electric kettle, filter coffee machine, hand
held electric blender & toaster.     The
Lounge/diner is tastefully decorated and has a comfy leather three
piece suite, 36 inch widescreen TV, Satellite TV (free to view
channels), DVD (small selection of DVD’s available) video player (small
selection of videos available) & radio/CD player (guests to bring
own CDs), a selection of books, puzzles, chess set, playing cards,
ceiling fan & the Orange Cottage boasts an original 19th century
fireplace that now houses the wood-burning stove. This is a beautiful
feature during the cooler winter months making the cottage very cosy.
Double doors lead on to the very large private terrace with it's own
table and chairs, brick Bar-B-Q area and reclining chairs.   The bathroom has a new luxury double walk-in shower, washbasin, WC, bidet and sloping wooden ceiling.  The Orange Cottage bedrooms consist of one double bed & one twin bed both with sloping wooden ceilings.   There is also a digital security safe in the cottage.  The Orange Cottage sleeps a maximum of 4 adults & an infant.  The
Carob Cottage is one of the newer apartment cottages at the
Quintassential, the sunniest of the accommodations and is a light and
airy one bedroom cottage with a large bedroom that has a double bed,
large ceiling fan, digital security safe & patio doors leading on
to the sun terrace. The bedroom is large enough to also accommodate a
single bed too or this can be used in the lounge area of a night time.
The bathroom has a new luxury bathroom with shower, washbasin with
vanity units under, WC, bidet and shaver point.                                                   The
spacious lounge/diner is decorated tastefully with cane furniture and
has a large comfy leather sofa, 28 inch widescreen TV, Satellite TV
(free to view channels), video player (small selection of videos
available), DVD player (small selection of DVD’s available), radio/CD
player with MP3 reader (guests to bring own CDs), puzzles, chess set,
playing cards, Domino set and patio doors leading onto a private
terrace with tables and chairs, brick Bar-B-Q’s and reclining chairs.   The
brand new modern kitchenette comprise of fridge with freezer
compartment, microwave, mini electric oven, electric kettle, toaster,
mini electric oven, filter coffee machine, hand held electric blender
and electric hob.   The
Carob Cottage sleep a maximum of 3 people in each and this cottage has
the added benefit of gas central heating for the cooler winter months.  This is already included in the price.  The
Lemon Cottage is one of the newer apartment cottages at the
Quintassential, a light and airy one bedroom cottage with a large
bedroom that has a double bed, large ceiling fan, digital security safe
& patio doors leading on to the sun terrace. The bedroom is large
enough to also accommodate a single bed too or this can be used in the
lounge area of a night time. The bathroom has a new luxury bathroom
with shower, washbasin with vanity units under, WC, bidet and shaver
point.                                                   The
spacious lounge/diner is decorated tastefully with pine furniture and
has a large comfy leather sofa, 36 inch widescreen TV, Satellite TV
(free to view channels), video player (small selection of videos

coffee machine, toaster, mini electric oven, filter coffee machine,
hand held electric blender and electric hob.   The
Lemon Cottage sleep a maximum of 3 people in each and this cottage has
the added benefit of gas central heating for the cooler winter months.  This is already included in the price.  Outside
The Quintassential is blessed with panoramic seaviews and spectacular
countryside views, just what you need for a tranquil and relaxing
holiday. The gardens at Quintassential are marvellous with many bushes,
plants and fruit trees, along with quiet areas to relax and absorb the
views.  The
Quintassential has a large pool area, the pool measures 10 x 5 m and
cushioned sun loungers, and parasols etc are provided for the use of
the guests. The Quintassential now also boasts at the pool area its own
hot tub spa Jacuzzi for guest use.  The pool is heated during the cooler months from 1st October until 30th April and there is no additional charge for heating the pool.  From June 2008 there will also be a children’s play area with swings, slide, see-saw all amidst an orange grove.  For
those who have a little more energy, there will also be a table tennis
table available for guest use along with table football.  ExtrasOn
arrival the owners will meet you and awaiting your arrival will be a
very generous welcome hamper in your accommodation compliments of the
house.  For all the adult guests, bathrobes are provided
for use during their stay, pool towels are provided to use only at the
Quintassential and the apartment cottages have hairdryers, alarm
clocks, irons and ironing boards.  Guests will need to bring their own beach towels.  There is a laundry service available for guests staying at the Quintassential for a small additional charge payable locally.  The Quintassential Cottages are non-smoking cottages and car hire is essential.  Prices from 1st November until 31st March include heating.  The
Lemon and Carob Cottages have gas central heating and the Orange and
Casa do Forno Cottage in the form of oil filled radiators.We
do everything possible to ensure that families with children have a
holiday that is both fun and relaxing. With children of our own we know
how important it is to keep kids happy and entertained on holiday,
within a safe and secure environment. The Quintassential is totally
fenced and accessed via electric gates, so a very safe place. There is
a lot of space for children to play and to discover nature, play with
Alfie our children loving dog, we have two dogs and three cats in total.  The
apartment cottages are all separated from the pool area, the pool area
is enclosed and gated to give parents of toddlers that extra piece of
mind. We
have a children’s play area available from June 2008 designed for
little ones situated on a large lawned area amongst an orange grove.  There
is a slide, swings, seesaw, playhouse etc, this area adds an exciting
dimension for all the visiting children and keeps them occupied for
hours.  There is also a seating area for adults to relax, unwind and top up their tans.For babies we have baby paddling pools to use on our pool terrace or your accommodations private terrace We
do not charge for children under the age of 2 and can provide a range
of equipment for babies and toddlers free of charge, meaning you can
travel lighter! The following equipment can be made available to all

Quintassential in association with Little Rascals Baby Shop would like
to give you the opportunity to make your holiday with small children
run as smoothly as possible. The
exclusive Baby Welcome Pack service is designed to reduce the stress of
traveling with young children, reduce the amount of extra luggage
needed and eliminate the difficulty of searching for familiar baby
products in another country.   Little Rascals is based in the central Algarve and stocks a wide range of UK baby products.  The Welcome Pack will be delivered free to your accommodation here at the Quintassential prior to your arrival.    Due
to the recent changes in baggage allowance by many of the airlines,
Little Rascals also hire Travel Cots, Car Seats and Push Chairs.    For further information regarding which products are available, please refer to our website.  We are also pleased to announce a baby sitting service from a British qualified nanny/nursery assistant.  For
those who wish to have a holiday and would like your meals delivered to
your accommodation, we can also offer a dinner service, high quality
frozen meals delivered and ready in minutes.
