The Log Chalet is situated within the 5* RATED Black Beck Park near Bouth, just to the South of Grizedale Forest in the very heart of the Lake District National Park. 

 

The Log Chalet, No 7 Crooked Oak offers you the perfect setting for both a short break or an extended holiday.

 

Black Beck park has a wealth of historical character and outstanding natural beauty. Situated amidst an area of mature woodland, it boasts unrivalled peace and tranquillity and an impressive range of local amenities.

 

Imagine a relaxing family holiday in the peaceful, picturesque and beautiful Lake District... in the Chalet, where you can fully enjoy everything that the Lakes has to offer, all from the comfort of a modern, fully equipped holiday home.

 

The Log Chalet can accommodate parties of up to 4 persons (5 by arrangement) and is superbly equipped to make you feel at home from home.

 

The Chalet is available for hire weekly or for short breaks at prices to suit all budgets

 

The Chalet is of a 5 star standard and is situated within Black Beck Site in a secluded position towards the back of the complex.

 

Crooked Oak is in a prime elevated position with wonderful views.

 

The Chalet comes fully equipped and furnished. The plot that the lodge stands on is elevated with steps leading up to the front door. There is a paved seating / BBQ area to the rear of the Lodge and a private 414 sq ft enclosed decking area to the front. The Lodge is surrounded by Lakeland woodland. There is a private parking space for one car with permission to extend this to parking for two cars. 

 

The interior of the Lodge consists of a lounge at the front with large picture windows to make the most of the views, a dining area and an open plan kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with an gas oven and a gas hob, large fridge freezer,  and built in cupboards.

 

There are two bedrooms, a double and a twin room with two single beds. The bedrooms have ample cupboard and drawer storage. There is also a family bathroom. In the lounge there is a full sized double bed settee.

 

It is positioned in a small Cul de Sac called Crooked Oak along with only 2 other holiday homes.

 

Crooked Oak is fully furnished to a high standard to include the following.

 

1 Double Bedroom with fitted wardrobes and bedside cabinets

 

TV with DVD, there is also a dressing table and mirror.

 

1 Single bedroom with two single bed, fitted wardrobe, centrally based bedside cabinet, dressing table and chair.

 

Fully furnished Lounge with, 3 seater settee, 2 single arm chairs, Flat Screen LCD TV, with BUILT IN DVD , an abundance of DVDs, Pine coffee table, small chair side tables and lamps, log effect gas fire, and double doors leading onto the Patio / Decking area.

 

Fully fitted Kitchen, with Gas Cooker and Gas Oven, Microwave, combination fridge freezer, wine rack, drinks glasses cabinet, an abundance of cupboard space, sink and drainer unit, and all utensils required to make your kitchen a kitchen from home. All cutlery, plates, pans and even a bread bin are present.

 

At the rear of the Cabin is a BBQ area situated on a hard standing paved patio area, perfect for those sunny evening BBQs,  there is also a seated area where you can sit and relax under the trees with a glass of wine.

 

The Decking area at the front is approximately 414 square feet, it is fenced all the way round and is constructed of the latest American Non Slip Material that looks just like hardwood, feels like hardwood and is completely safe in wet weather. 

 

Being gated and fenced also ensures maximum security and safety for any little children staying at the Cabin.

 

The Cabin is also fully Gas centrally heated / with Combi- Boiler for those cold nights when you want to snuggle up in front of the TV.

 

The bathroom is fully fitted with a Bath, Shower, Toilet, Wash basin and cabinet, along with such luxuries as a heated towel rail and vanity cabinet..
