Property Description

Tamar Valley Lodges are two privately owned lodges set in the Tamar Valley on the Cornwall/Devon border.  The ground floor has one double bedroom and two twin bedded rooms, a bathroom with electric shower which can be used en suite or shared, and a separate shower room with toilet. A glazed door from the double bedroom leads to a private patio.  On the first floor is a spacious living/dining room with a glazed door leading to the large south facing sun deck. There is a large sofa bed in the lounge. The fully fitted kitchen is through an arch from the living area. There are extensive wooded grounds with plenty of parking.

The Tamar Valley has been designated an Area of Outstanding National Beauty (AONB) and is part of the area which has World Heritage Status for historical tin and copper mining in Cornwall and Devon.  It is an unspoilt and tranquil river valley with a great history to explore.

Dartmoor, Bodmin Moor and the spectacular beaches and coastline of North and South Cornwall are all within easy reach. The area is suitable both for relaxed or energetic holidays with many water sporting opportunities available or just for family enjoyment.
