Property Description |
Apartment Sonnrain - 2 Bedrooms 2 bathrooms. Our apartment house is located directly on the cycle path, less than 5 minutes walk to the village center and ski bus stop. The Sonnrain apartment is on the first floor and offers 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, plus a large kitchen/living room. Each bedroom has an Austrian style double bed ( 2 mattress in a box base), plus a pull out bed suitable for a third person. There is an en suite bathroom to each bedroom with shower,wc and wash basin. The well equipped kitchen offers a full oven, 4 ring electric hob, dishwasher, fridge,microwave, toaster and kettle.There is also a dining table, TV and double size sofa bed. Large south facing balconies afford super mountain views. In house there is a sauna ( free of charge in winter ), whirlpool ( winter only ) solarioum ( coin operated). There is a large social room with cozy bar, Sky TV, childrens playroom and free computer corner. The apartments also benefit from free WIFI. The English owners are on hand to help with all aspects of your holiday, and can help to arrange transfers, car rental, ski school etc. In summer our guests will receive a free Lowen Summer card, offering free unlimited access to the superb outdoor swimming pool -leisure - and tennis complex ( 150 mtrs walk) . Daily free cable car in Leogang, Saalbach or Hinterglemm.Free daily guided mountain walking programme, and also ree use of chair lift in nearby Saalfelden and many other discounted offers for sightseeing in the local area . Our house also has free car parking for all guests,ski store and electric boot/clothes drier, and a garden with BBQ and outdoor furniture for summer guests to enjoy . ) |

Leogang is located in The Salzburgerland of Austria, and can be reached very easily by car in 1 hour from Salzburg airport. There is a good rail link to nearby Saalfelden, and it is possible to arrange collection from the Station. Innsbruck is also only 1.5 hours away, and a little further but also very convenient is Munich, Linz or Memmingen airports. Leogang is linked with the nearby villages of Saalbach and Hinterglemm, which combined together offer the largest linked ski area in Austria - The Ski Circus is well known as one of the best Austria has to offer. In Summer Leogang is home to the famous Bike Park, - Europes largest mountain bike park, with seriously challenging downhill trails. The area also offers more than 400 kilometers of marked walking and cycle trails amongst wonderfull scenic mountains. Nearby is Zell am See famous for the beautifull lake, and some serious shopping opportunities. Kaprun Glacier is also only a short car journey away, and is ideal for year round skiing and snowboarding. |
