This third floor apartment is located on top of a smooth hill dominating the village of Acicastello. It has been beautifully decorated to offer an high level of accommodation and comfort. Additionally, a balcony offering a stunning panoramic seaview of the Ionian sea, Sicily east cost from spacing from Acitrezza’s Faraglioni to the Gulf of Syracuse (in the clear days) spread out in front of you when you are relaxing in the living area, reposing in the master bedroom or having a meal in the kitchen.
Aci Castello is a pleasant fishing town with a few bars and restaurants and an excellent base from which to explore eastern Sicily.
Passing through the front door one enters a spacious living and dining area with floor length picture windows that both bring the amazing view inside and access the balcony.
The large and comfortable sofa is arranged to take full advantage of the view.
From the lounge/diner an hallway brings into the other rooms.
The main bedroom is located at the end of the hallway and offers a room that has been furnished with a double bed, bedsides tables and a large chest drawers. A sliding door, beside the bed, provides access to a modern ensuite walk-in closet.
Along the hallway is located a modern and large bathroom which has been fitted with a modern sink, bidet, toilet and a large walk-in shower beautifully decorated with Bisazza’s mosaic. Capacious cabinets will offer you all the space you need. The furniture are all made in Canaletto walnut wood.
The large well-equipped kitchen is fitted with everything you need.
Bedroom, kitchen and lounge/diner have direct access to a balcony which offers a superb panoramic seaview. The balcony is fitted with table and deckchairs and shaded by awnings.
From a wooden stair-case, in the living room, you can access to a wide mansard fitted with a French bed, flat screen television and a relaxing area of pillows and mattresses.
The entire apartment and mansard, except for the bathroom and the kitchen offer a polished wooden floor.
The apartment has climate control throughout which provides both air-conditioning and heating.

If you manage to tear yourself away from the apartment, directly below, 3 minutes driving, is the seaside town of Acicastello with its rocky outcrop and its Norman ancient castle perched on a spur. Aci Castello is a charming fishing town, still relatively untouched by tourism except during August and summer weekends when it fills up with people from Catania in search of the sea. |
