The town has many shops, restaurants, bars, discos and a rustic-elegant Casino. There is a pedestrian area which invites you for a walk. The lake and its lido along a street with many bars are also ideal for walking. You also have the chance to take hiking tours with all levels of difficulty. You can easily reach the Nature Reserve Karwendel, Gaistal, Rosshütte, Innsbruck (the capital of Tyrol) with the Golden Roof and with many other places of interest. The Castles Tratzberg, Linderhof and Ambras and the open-air museum are among the numerous cultural attractions in this region. Euro 2008 also makes a stop in Innsbruck. The world wide football elite have summer camps here.
