In the Marais Poitevin, Massigny is a secret valley beside the river Vendee where we renovated an old barn in a stylish mix of old and new to give you a warm welcome. A double room and a family room are very comfortable. A small kitchen with micro-wave, fridge, deep-freezer, hotplate.Use the sunny guest sitting room with a coppertub for plants and a billiard table for your pleasure. In a steep slooping garden where hoopoes nest and squirrels play, use the pool, picnic in a shady corner, barbecue or walk in the vegetable garden near bamboos. Enjoy gorgeous breakfast with unusual jams from garden fruits or flowers. A lovely setting for a quiet place. Baby sitter possible if booked the previous day. Picnic basket with local produces if asked the previous day. Many historical sites to visit all around : Fontenay-le-Comte (Renaissance town), Vouvant (old village with fortifications and the Legend of Mélusine) and the atlantic coast not very far (La Rochelle 40 kms).
