Well furnished, beachfront studio. Larger than most 1 bedroom apartments. Fantastic sea, beach and mountain views. Well equipped and very large studio apartment. It is light, modern and clean property and has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It has a lovely terrace area with the most amazing views and is furnished with two very comfortable armchairs to sit and watch the sun go down with a glass of local wine (or two!). The apartment has a dishwasher, washing machine, British and Spanish television, DVD and CD players, microwave, coffee maker, juicer, hairdryer, safe etc. It has large, comfortable beds with are custom made to move up into the wall if you wish them to be out of your way during the day - although there is plenty of room if you don't. Lovely large gardens with well kept pool and direct private beach access. Peaceful setting yet central to the village. Close to taxi ranks and bus route if you do not wish to rent a car, but plenty of parking if you do.We can arrange an airport transfer if you wish. Smokers are welcome but we ask that this be limited to the terrace area as a courtesy to future guests - and us! |

La Cala de Mijas is a lovely, lively fishing village with lots of character.The beach has blue flag status and is known to be one of the best and cleanest in the area. The number of locals who frequent it prove that! The chiringuitos (beach bars) are reasonably priced and serve good food. It has a well known twice weekly market and lots of bars, shops and restaurants. It's 5 minutes from Fuengirola, 10 minutes from Marbella and within half an hour of Malaga, Puerto Banus, Mijas Pueblo, Benalmadena, Torremolinos, Alhaurin El Grande, Coin etc. Granada, Seville, Cordoba and Ronda are easy day trips. The Zoo, Water Park, Sea Life Centre and Safari Park are amongst the local attractions, or you may just prefer to sit by the pool or on the beach! Local shopping is good whether you prefer the shopping centres (Miramar and La Canada) or Puerto Banus and Marbella, and although prices have risen here recently, there are still bargains to be had compared with UK prices. |
