The Sandpipers is a 4 bedroom pool home, on the borders of Ozona and Old Palm Harbor, just minutes from the ocean. Set away from the tourist areas, you are just a short walk from the small gulf side town of Ozona with its locally caught fish restaurants, piano bars and ice cream parlors.
The house is positioned in an area where you can leave the car at home and walk to shops that cater for all your needs A cycle ride or 2 minute drive takes you into downtown Old Palm Harbor, which is very much traditional Florida. Here the area has charming cracker houses, good restaurants, coffee houses and holds monthly street parties. The Pinellas cycle/walking trail can be picked up from close by, and runs for miles both north and south, going past some of the coastline and many of the attractions. (cycle rentals available there) All within a 5 minute drive are some of the best beaches, lakes, and state parks in the county.

Honeymoon and Caladesi islands are both nature reserves, totally unspoiled and offer all the family the most wonderful escape from it all. Caladesi beaches are constantly voted in the top 10 in the USA being number one in 2008 Crystal Beach with its quaint little harbor is also a short drive. Lake Tarpon is world known for its fishing and is lined with some beautiful state parks, with trails, BBQ areas, boating and viewing towers. The "Greek" Sponge Docks of Tarpon Springs and the lovely marinas of Dunedin are also very close by. For those coming for Golf, Palm Harbor has the championship course of Innisbrook and numerous other great courses close by. For sporting fans, the area now has the Phillies Spring Training Ground within a 5 minute drive. Raymond James and Tropicana field are also within a 30 minute drive. For those seeking 'more to do' Clearwater Beach is just a 10 minute drive away.
