Casa Giovanni is set in a peaceful, romantic hillside location of the Alpi Apuane (national park), the mountains that rise high above the valley of Camaiore which is behind Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi on the coast. The market town of Camaiore is a 10 minute drive and the nearest motorway exit is 20 minutes away. The beautiful walled town of Lucca is only 22 kilometers while Pisa is a 35 kilometer drive away. The marble quarries of Carrara are within easy reach, and the town of Pietrasanta, famed as being the centre for sculptors who come to cast their work from all over the world, is only about 15 minutes from Camaiore. |
