Property Description |
An attractive cottage on beautiful Lake Iroquois, available April through November. Rentals are weekly (Sunday to Sunday) during peak summer months, but can be rented for shorter periods (minimum of two days) at other times. The cottage is insulated and heated, so comfortable during cool Vermont nights. It has many of the comforts of home, such as a full kitchen with dishwasher, and is fully furnished, including linens, towels, cookware, dishes, charcoal, birdseed, etc. We even stock the fridge with a modest amount of food suitable for breakfasts. Our intent is to be sure that you will not have to pack a lot of stuff, and you will not have to go shopping for supplies as soon as you arrive! The lake is good for swimming and fishing. We supply a canoe for your use. Fish include smallmouth bass, northern pike, and panfish (including, of course, the usual perch) The location is only about 15 miles from Burlington, Vermont's largest (though not large by other standards) city. Therefore it is a convenient place to stay if you are visiting the area for business, cultural activities, or events at the many colleges in the area. It is also a great home base for a vacation that may include visits to attractions throughout the area, including, for example, a day trip to Montreal. |

Cancellation policy:
Reservations are secured with a $100 deposit, which is nonrefundable in most cases. Balance due by date of arrival, and will be forgiven if you cancel at least 30 days in advance or if we can re-rent for the week. We do request that you be sure of your travel schedule before making a reservation, as cancellations leave open a period that we had kept open for you, sending away everybody else who may have been interested in those dates. |
