This is a nicely furnished(in Madeiran Style) two bedroom/two bathroom second floor(with lift) apartment to sleep up to four people. It is located in the Ajuda distrct of Funchal not far from the seafront and close to the restaurants and shops. The town centre is about a half hour bus ride away. The apartment actually has two balconies - one facing East to catch the morning sun and one facing West from which you can see the mountains and the sea. There is a table and four chairs on this balcony. There are buses in all directions to other parts of the island. The local beach - Praia Formosa - is a very short walk away. The Lido swimming pool is also not far and here you can not only enjoy the open air pool but you also have access to the sea for swimming as well. Most important of all is the fact that there is a car parking space with the apartment. |

The distance to the airport is about a 30 minute taxi ride. All parts of the Island can be reached by bus. There is a large supermarket nearby as well as the usual range of quality shops and cafes/restaurants. The distance to the centre of Funchal is about 3 miles |
