Property Description |
Moose Point Cottages is in a unique location on a peninsula between two lakes. Both Tomiko & Chebogan Lakes have an abundant supply of walleye, bass, northern pike, perch, whitefish, panfish (bluegill, crappie) & catfish. Near Crystal Falls we have 7 clean, lakeside, fully equipped housekeeping cottages. All of our cottages have a full kitchen including electric fridge, stove w/oven, coffeemaker, toaster, microwave, all dishes & cooking utensils. The linens & bedding are supplied & we even make the beds before you arrive. The propane bbq is on the deck. Each cottage also has their own picnic table & firepit. #7 Hillside is our largest cottage & is open year round. It has all of the above plus dishwasher & TV/DVD/VCR/satellite. Our boats are 14' aluminum wide & deep with 9.9 motors. If you wish, we also have docking for your own boat. Our 25' pontoon boat is available for rent by the day or weekly. Relax at our sandy beach or take a tour on one of our paddleboats or kayaks which are free for our guests to use. There is also a playground for the kids with lots of room to run. We are close to hiking, ATV & snowmobile trails. If you want seclusion, Moose Point is the place to be. |

Crystal Falls is 20 min. from Sturgeon Falls where there are major grocery stores, restaurants, liquor store, laundromat & the Sturgeon River House Museum & Boardwalk. We are 45 min. from North Bay which also has shopping malls, the Dionne Quints Museum & Chief Commanda cruises. Sudbury is 1 hr. from here. It also has shopping malls, Science North & Dynamic Earth. We are 4 hrs. from Toronto. |
