Antalya airport is less than hour by car from the house on a good road. Airport transfers or car hire can be arranged by the management agent who will also show the property to you and be your contact while you stay there. The complex has its own car park at one side but there are no cars within the site, making it very quiet and peaceful. Cars, however, are not essential as there is a local dolmus service nearby and many organised tours to tourist destinations in the area.

 

A Welcome Pack can also be arranged and contains food and drinks. There is a small shop on the complex which sells fresh bread, milk, wine and sun cream, among many things. There is a local market twice a week in Side, and a large supermarket.

There is plenty to do in the area. The centre of the town of Side can be reached in ten minutes by car or by walking along the beach for an hour. Side offers an amphitheatre, a museum, archaeoloy, shops, restaurants and the amazing Temple of Apollo on its headland. Within an hour's drive of the house you can find the ancient town of Perge, the intact Aspendos amphitheatre with performances in the summer, and the Taurus mountains. The owner can arrange for flowers, welcome packs and a Turkish meal to be arranged in the house.

 

The beach offers parasailing, water ski-ing, banana boats, jet skis, fishing, boat trips to see turtles and dolphins, horse-riding and basketball. There is a playground on the complex site. Nearby there are nature reserves and the Taurus mountains where you may ski in the winter, hike or wateraft. There are five championship level golf courses in Belek, just twenty minutes away by road.
