A wing of the property has been tastefully converted into four 1 bedroomed self contained apartments sleeping 2/4. One of which is Poppy being on the first floor, front facing with stunning views, sleeping 2/4 having 1 double bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge. Ideally suited for couples wishing to get away from it all, but near to sandy beaches, nature reserves & towns if relaxation becomes too much! Humphries Cross is on the border of Kent & East Sussex, giving guests the opportunity to explore Kent 'the garden of England' as well as East Sussex '1066 Country' We are situated close to Tenterden (Kent) with its quaint antique shops, steam railway, vineyard/winery with shop & bistro & town of Battle (East Sussex) where re-enactments of the Battle of Hastings take place. Gardens & Castles are in abundance such as Smallhythe Place, Bodiam Castle, Sissinghurst Castle, Great Dixter just to mention a few. London, Brighton, Canterbury, Eastbourne & Hastings are all within easy reach for day trips. We are ideal for day trips to france as the Eurotunnel is only 45 minutes drive away!
