Property Description

Daisy Cottage is a spacious home away from home on the north west coast of Ireland.  The house is also our own family holiday home and so we have made sure it is fully stocked with everything a family on holiday might need.  There is a large kitchen/diner with a table that seats 12 and a kitchen packed with every modern convenience. lots of dishes, pots & pans and cooking utensils, glasses, the lot.  Outside we have a covered patio/gazebo area where outdoor dining is possible even if it rains.  And if the weather is fine, there is an orchard garden attached to the patio where children can play or one can simply sit and read enjoying the shade from the apple trees.

We have 5 bedrooms: one with king size bed and en suite, 2 with double bed both en suite, and 2 twin bedded rooms.  There is also a separate bathroom with bath.  One of the double bedroom is on the ground floor and the en suite here also has a wc suitable for guests use.

The living room has an open fire, flat screen tv with freeview channels, dvd player & dvds, cd player & cds.  Perfect for relaxing after a meal.

For those who need internet access we have broadband internet and a computer.  There is also an ipod docking station.  We have a wii with sports games too.  And speaking of games, we have a small games loft which has a pool/air hockey table plus dart board.

Beds are freshly made up for your arrival with snow white sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases (2 pillows per guest and our matresses are all brand new and very comfortable),with the fresh white sheets we also supply snow white fluffy towels.  There are 2 bath sheets, 2 hand towels, and 2 face/wash cloths per guest.  And to save you bringing beach towels, we supply one each of these for your use.  Drying cloths and dish cloths are also supplied for the kitchen.

Baby guests can be accommodated by prior arrangement and we can supply a travel cot, high chair, baby walker and so on.

There are many other extras including hair dryer, board games, books, iron, ironing board, etc.

We want you to be able to relax and settle in the moment you walk through the door of Daisy Cottage and have made every effort to ensure your holiday kicks off to the best possible start in this most scenic area of Ireland.

NOTE: While the house may not be 100% wheelchair accessible with ease, we have nonetheless ramped the entrance from the back of the property, the front door itself comes straight into the hall, and there is one downstairs (double) bedroom with spacious en suite.  There is a ramp into this bedroom.  So the house IS suitable for those with limited mobility.
