Tumaini Terrace is an ideal location for anyone seeking a good value, relaxing, sunshine beach holiday at an exotic destination, away from the regimentation and bustle of a hotel.  Although secluded, entertainment and activities are within easy walking or driving distance.  It is especially good value for families or groups of friends out for a good time in the laid back and relaxing coastal idyll.

Located within a one and a half acre walled compound, Tumaini Villas are just three minutes walk off the main Diani Beach Road, and five minutes drive from the main Ukunda shopping centre.  

The villas are spacious, well ventilated, and have silent running ceiling fans in each bedroom and the kitchen/living room area.  One bedroom has a double bed and the other two singles.  There are mosquito nets. The living room area provides additional sleeping space.  Baby cots are available. 

The kitchen is equipped with a cooker, fridge/freezer and full sets of cutlery and utensils.  All provisions can be purchased from the nearby supermarkets.  A chef can be contracted at a very reasonable price for those who need this service.

The veranda is spacious, with power points, and overlooks the beatiful garden area.  The compound is well lit at night.

There is twenty four hour security and an alarm system. There is also an office with a live in caretaker and car parking facilities.

Cleanliness is the watchword at Tumaini Villas and we have been commended for the excellent conditions in which our villas are kept.
 
The road from the villas leads to the complex of supermarkets, bars, souvenir stalls and Internet cafes, along the main road.  Safaris and other excursions can be booked at the complex.  Taxis can be ordered and there is a regular Matatu (local bus) service providing cheap transport to other locations along the beach, the nearby town of Ukunda and Mombasa.  Pathways lead to the beach from the other side of the main road.
