  • Absolutely STUNNING VIEWS from this luxury Cotswolds holiday cottage. Strictly NO CHINTZ but furnished with care and flare, we welcome you to an area with genuinely loads to do for all ages.
  • The cottages sleeps up to 4 + baby in a cot.
  • Ideal for romantic getaway, honeymoons etc as the main bedroom is stylish and gorgeous. it even has a white corner sofa in front of double doors out onto a balcony to watch hotair balloons coming up the valley and the sunsetting.Pocket sprung mattress, TV/dvd.
  • The 2nd bedroom has twin beds and we put lovely soft toys in for child guests when appropriate.
  • White bathroom with bath and over shower, curved glass screen.
  • Semi open plan downstairs. Lounge with log burner, TV/dvd, CD player into larger kitchen dining area. Dining for 6 plus breakfastr bar for 2.
  • Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave ,wash machine, fullsize fridge freezer and oven , slow cooker, toastie maker, hand juicer etc in cottage.
  • Picnic basket and foldaway chairs provided for picnics and BBQ.
  • For "littluns" there is nice and new travel cot,booster high chair and tray, baby bath, steam steriliser on request, and baby food mincer....basket of lovely clean soft toys too. Loads of other things in the cottage too many to mention.
  • SHORT BREAKS almost ALL YEAR; Weekend breaks start from 3pm Fridays or midweek breaks start from3pmMondays

In an area known as the "undiscovered Cotwolds" and in an Area of Outstanding natural Beauty, the cottage is on a hillside 2 miles from Stroud. Five valleys converge on the old market town of Stroud which makes every corner you turn exciting. Every Saturday the award winning farmers market in Stroud comes alive with a continental feel and an a certain buzz to it. Festivals happen all year round- it is a very arty community with an ecclectic mix of entrepreneurs.

On Sunday afternoons from April to October picnic at a polo match and enjoy that relax time.

Or try my beautiful walks with amazing scenery from the cottage doorstep.

Great choice of excellent eating out within 3 mile radius, my recommendations in cottages.

Nearby is Berkerley castle, Slimbridge bird Sanctuary, Cotswolds wildlife Park, Cotswolds Waterpark, villages such as Painswick , Minchinhampton, Nailsworth and Tetbury, Westonbirt Arboretum with summer Concerts. 

For the more active book a hotair balloon flight or try gliding (often over the cottages),clay pigeon shooting, or go on a hack from excellent riding stables Golf; choice of golf amid the roaming cows 1/2 mile or new course 2milesaway. 

Stay for the 3 day eventing at Badminton horse trials, Gatcombe park eventing and Cheltenham races.

There is genuinely loads to do and so close by.....

Cancellation policy:

 

  • We advise guests to take out insurance against cancellation for whatever reason.
  • The £100 deposit to reserve the cottage or first £100 if paying in full,is non refundable. However we will refund the balance or equivalent if you have paid in full, minus any advertising costs incurred or discounts given to get a new booking.
  • If we cannot rebook the cottages then you forfeit your monies.
  • The refundable dpeosit held against breakages and extra cleaning will be refunded in full.
Deposits:

£100 to reserve the dates, balance 8 weeks before your stay.
Other Fees:
  • £100 refundable deposit held against breakages and extra cleaning, ( this amount does not limit the guests liability should the costs to return the cottage and its contents back to its former state be in excess of the £100).
  • We would expect to return the deposit in full and within a week of your departure.
Other policies:
  • I am sorry but strictly no pets , as some guests have allergies.
  • No smoking in the cottages and please uses ashtrays provided for outside smoking.
  • Please look after and enjoy our cottages. We are happy when you are happy!
