Property Description

Martlett & Hirondelle Barns are two fully furnished self catering two person studio apartments with outstanding rural views overlooking Helston and Loe Bar.  They are situated at Weeth which used to be a working farm belonging to the Penrose Estate.

They have been carefully renovated, decorated and furnished to a high standard with cream leather sofas, twin or super kingsize beds (as required), double shower cubicles and well equipped solid oak kitchens.  They both have wired and wireless internet access, heating, washing machine, microwave, cooker, TV & DVD and are supplied with quality linen and towels for your stay.

Outside is a seating area with table and chairs with views overlooking a lovely rural landscape, ideal for seeing the sunset.  There is off road parking opposite the barns with storage facilities for bikes, surf boards or even a boat if required. 

Our fantastic location allows you to enjoy the surrounding area on foot with a ten minute walk into Helston passing the Coronation Boating lake or by stepping across the road to the River Cober and Loe Bar.  We are situated in ideal walking country with attractive coves, gardens and walks to explore along with many other attractions activities.

We are situated within a five minute walk of Helston town centre where there are shops, restaurants and pubs.  A five minute drive will take you into Porthleven a picturesque fishing village with views overlooking the harbour and sea with plenty of pubs and restaurants to enjoy.  Directly across the road from Weeth is Loe Bar which is a lovely walk taking you all the way to the sea, a bird watchers paradise.
