Sudbury Suffolk is a beautiful & thriving market town located in an oxbow bend on the river Stour

It is noted in the Doomsday book (1086AD) that the Stour valley had the highest concentration of Freemen in England,

this independence and prosperity can be seen in the beautiful villages & towns of the region.

Our holiday cottage is located in the heart of East Anglia providing an exceptionally comfortable base

to explore the region's history, landscape and architectural legacy.

Great for walking, fishing, canoeing, cycling and much much more. Across the road are the water meadows

with many footpaths along the river Stour leading to open countryside. A popular fishing & boating location.

The Sudbury rowing regatta in August is a summer highlight. Sport centres provide indoor/outdoor swimming,

fitness rooms, ball courts and pampering. Tennis courts, skateboarding and bowls are a few minutes walk away.
