This luxury Riad is situated in the medieval walled town of Taroudant, just south of the High Atlas mountain range, north of the Anti Atlas mountain range. 30 minutes drive north or south gets you right into the mountains where trekking is unbeatable. This is where the Argan trees grow, and goats climb the trees to reach the nutritious argan nuts. Argan oil is fabulous for skin, and delicious on salads and in tagines. Taroudant is an hour inland from Agadir where the endless stretches of white sands along the coast are heavenly. The surfing along that Atlantic coast is excellent and surfers come from all over the world to surf there. Agadir is well known too for its first-class golf courses. |
