Ayia Napa has some of the finest beaches in Cyprus. Nissi Beach and Nissi bay - Nissi, which in Greek means a small island, gives a new dimension to the beauty of the landscape. It is well sheltered from the winds which facilitate all sorts of sea sports. There are also shops, cafeterias, pubs, and restaurants in the area.
Alternatively you can have a very leisurely stroll (around 45minutes) passing numerous bars, restaurants & shops all the way to the harbour where you can enjoy an evening meal as the sun goes down watching the fish swim past. Significant investment has gone into regenerating the harbour area and it has been designated a pedestrian zone lined with cafes, bars, tavernas etc A wooden walkway spans the length of the harbour, and at night the lighting sets the perfect scene for a romantic meal or sunset stroll. |
