See Vibo Marina, with it's lovely harbour, boats/ yachts. Stroll the promenade, stopping for a while at the pastry bar/cafes. Enjoy traditional family fare with lunch at a trattoria along the waterfront. Continue south along the coast road, south of Tropea and visit the small town or Santa Domenica, stop at the delightful beer garden at Il Giardino della Rose Cafe.

Beyond Santa Domenica, south of Zambrone/Tropea is Capo Vaticano and Ricadi, well worth a drive for some spectacular scenery en route to Nicotera and Nicotera Marina. Golf course of Feudo Montalto Club, at Limadi, is also 30 min. south of Tropea, with dining and club house. Calabria has 2 National Parks Aspromonte and the Sila - with lucious lakes and forests.
