The 16th Century house is ideally situated at the end of the village giving glorious views from all windows.

Ground Floor

First Floor

  • One double bedroom - Good size master double bedroom with fitted wardrobe and chest of drawers and window with views of the surrounding hillside and the garden.

  • Bathroom - a large fully fitted bathroom with full size bath and bidet

The Garden

Set apart from the house down a small lane directly in front of the house. The plot is over an acre and has the two tallest trees in the village. A very large fixed wooden table and benches alongside a barbecue is set under the trees for shade. There is a path down to the river which is only accessible through the garden. In the utility room there is a hammock that can be tied to the trees, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peace and views.

Rodès is a charming small village set on the hillside a mile off the main road leading from Perpignan to Andorra. A lovely restaurant is just three door away, there is also a post office and a bread/grocery shop in the village.

You have the best of both worlds here with the mountains and beaches both close at hand. The well equipped and tastefully furnished 16th century house is perfectly located in a beautiful peaceful village allowing lovely views from the windows. It has a separate atmospheric garden which is very peaceful and has wonderful views of Mount Canigou and access to the river.

Located within 30 minutes of Perpignan airport, you have easy access to beaches and yet the peace and tranquility of the countryside. There is also a swimming lake 5 minutes from the house.
