Playa del Carmen is a cosmopolitan town located on the Caribbean Sea about 35 miles South of Cancun in the heart of Mexico's Mayan Riviera. Playa is perfect for enjoying the simple and perhaps the best pleasures in life, at day time taking in the sun and cooling down with a swim in clear sea water, strolling aimlessly down the beach, listening to the wash of waves, and feeling the light cool touch of the white sand beach.
