Property Description

This spacious newly built holiday
villa was designed in the style of Geoffrey Bawa, Sri Lanka’s most
famous and revered architect. The villa is 15 minutes walk to the main
Bentota beach and the towns of Aluthgama and Bentota, which offer a
wide choice of shops, banks, restaurants and hotels. The main Colombo -
Galle road passes Teak Villa, which enjoys a secluded position within a
residential area of Aluthgama, affording maximum privacy. The property
is entered through strong security gates with the use of a video
intercom / entry system. There is also a high perimeter wall
surrounding the villa which offers additional security. The villa has
been elegantly furnished in a traditional colonial style simple - yet
luxurious. The property has its own private garden, pool and staff. The
shared areas of the villa are large and open and the high teak wood
ceiling keeps the area cool along with the three ceiling fans.

There
are 3 bedrooms in the villa which are spacious and each have four
poster queen size teak beds which are draped with mosquito nets. The
master bedroom is en-suite and the other 2 share a communal bathroom.
All 3 bedrooms are air-conditioned, have ceiling fans and all have
access to the side garden area. Both bathrooms are large and fully
tiled. They have solar powered hot/cold water, showers, wc and hand
basin.

There is a modern kitchen with large fridge freezer, gas
cooker/oven, toaster, wall and floor cupboards and all necessary
crockery, cutlery and glassware. There is also a water machine which
provides fresh and cool drinking water. There is a laundry room with
automatic washing machine, iron and iron board for guest use.

There
is a large sitting room which offers central living and dining areas
for socialising with satellite TV, CD Player and radio, DVD player and
three ceiling fans.There is a quiet mezzanine area which overlooks the
swimming pool area where guests can sit relax and chill out. The
swimming pool is 25 foot long with underwater lighting for evening
swimming. There is also an additional outside pool shower and available
sun loungers. There are large outside veranda areas for dining and
general socialising.

Beds are made daily and the linen changed twice a week. Towels are also provided including pool and beach towels.


The
rental price is fully inclusive of breakfast, room servicing, daily
cleaning and electricity. The staff will prepare a continental
breakfast and will cook good omelettes to order. Guests should discuss
other meal requirements with the House Manager, Milanka who can arrange
for meals to be provided, all at an additional cost. The villa is also
available on a self catering basis and prices are available on request.
