The cottage is located in quiet scenic area close to all amenities (beaches, historical sites, etc...) and ideal as base for day trips to other parts of North West Ireland. The area is dotted with Fairy Forts, Ring Forts, Standing Stones and Dolmens and ruined Abbeys. The breathtaking coast of North West Mayo has many sight seeing trips within an easy drive of the property. Ceide Fields and Downpatrick Head are half an hour away. The area is known for it`s excellent fishing both sea and river and has excellent golf courses at Enniscrone, Ballina and Bellmulet. A beautiful and desserted beach is 2km from the cottage.
Town: Ireland, North West Mayo, Killala/Ballina The main town of Ballina with large supermarkets etc... is approx 25 minutes drive by car. Recently modernised to include ensuite bathroom and garden terrace. |
