Property Description

Our Villa Il Sole is located in the open Chianti countryside, but at the same time at walking distance from a restaurant and a Spa center, assuring you an holiday of full relax and quietness. Our country-home dates back to the beginning of the XIX Century and it has been recently restored preserving the original structure of the house and its "Tuscan feeling". Our Villa Il Sole sleeps 6 persons (it is 220 squared metres large, inside), having 3 double bedrooms. For families with small children, we can provide 2 baby-beds and 1 baby-high-chairs, all for free . In the villa you also have 2 living-rooms with fireplaces and a large plasma-TV, 1 kitchen fully equipped (also with dish-washer, oven, fridge-freezer, 4 rings-stove, microwave, vacuum cleaner), 1 diningroom, 2 bathrooms (each one with basin, bidet, WC, shower or bathtub). The villa has also a large roofed loggia or veranda equipped with tables and chairs in order to eat or relax open-air. A garden/park of about 1200 squared metres is sourrounding the Villa, and it is also equipped with a barbecue area.

The swimmingpool is 800 metres far from the house, in fact it is located in the near VILLA I BARRONCI Country Resort (www.villaibarronci.com) that we also own. This swimingpool has a Jacuzzi area, where you will enjoy moments of total relax! The country road to reach the swimmingpool is very safe and adults and children may walk alone without danger; moreover, we may give you for free some bycicles that adults and children may use along this road. Because of this proximity, if you rent Villa Il Sole you will have also free access to the Spa Center in I Barronci, as well to the swimmingpool; the use of the Finnish Sauna at I Barronci is as well for free (but reservation is required). In I Barronci we also have a restaurant, where you may book a dinner or a lunch, if you like. In a small part of the villa we have a reception where we may be at your disposal and help you with hints & tips on our region. We provide breakfasts for our guests on request, at ONLY 3,50 Euro per person per breakfast: breakfast is served at VILLA IL SOLE! On guests's request, we will be glad to organize wine-tastings or olive-oil-tastings. Wi-Fi Internet connection and Laundry service both available at Villa I Barronci. Pick-up service from airports (price depending on the airport location).

Cancellation policy:

Should the client decide to cancel his booking, the advanced-payment will not be refunded to the client, unrespectively of the date on which he should decide to cancel. The waiver must be made in writing (registered letter or fax or email), if not the client is subjected to a penalty of 100% of the amount due for the whole booking. We reserve ourselves the faculty to substitute the accommodations booked with an offer of equal value in the event of serious unexpected occurrence. In the event of force majeure (war, natural calamity, fire, etc.) we can cancel the contract and fully reimburse the sum paid. In case of cancellation from 15 to 0 days before of arrival date, in addition to losing the advanced-payment of 30%, the client is also obliged to pay us an additional a penalty of 20% of the amount due for the whole booking.

  • - bicycles (common bicycles), avaliable upon request, are free of charge. Mountain-bikes instead are subjected to a fee.

  • -final cleanings (100 euros, to pay before your check-out); an extra-total cleaning of the house (at mid-week or daily or at your choice) costs 100 euros per each complete cleaning of the villa
  • -breakfasts, served every morning at the Villa Il Sole, if requested the price is ONLY 3,50 Euro/person per breakfast
  • -heating (pay per use - on average, in Winter it costs about 70-100 euro/week)
  • -extra single-bed (20 Euro/night)
  • -extra changes (daily or in-week) of bedlinen or towels (15 euros per each bed / 20 euros per changing each set of towels)
  • -woods for fireplace: at 28 euros per 1 quintal/220.50 lb
  • - Laundry Service (available at Villa I Barronci : 10 Euro per each kg of clothes; minimum is requested to wash 2 kilos)

OTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE ON REQUEST:

  • -Typical Tuscan dinners or lunches, organized for you at Villa I Barronci. Please note that the cost per each dinner/lunch (drinks not included) is 28 euro/adult (children under 12 years: 15 euro).
  • -We may organize, on request, wine-tastings and extra-virgin-olive-oil-tastings.
  • - a personal shopper that will tour you in Florence may be arranged on your request
