Spacious front line ground floor apartment with stunning views over pools, gardens & Sea.  

The only thing between Mar Azul and the Mediterranean is the promenade and the beach!

Mar Azul is comprised of only 72 apartments, arranged in an appealing ‘V’ shape, and all facing in a Southerly direction towards the sea. The apartments have been designed primarily with the sunny climate and outdoor living in mind. The giant sliding glass doors from both the lounge and master bedroom open directly onto the spacious sun-drenched terrace, which in turn leads onto our private and manicured grassed area. Both are provided with the levels of privacy more normally associated with a private villa, but with stunning views normally not.
The vast sliding glass doors to both the lounge and master bedroom lead onto the extensive terrace with private manicured lawned area in front, onto which the Sun shines all Morning, and until well into the afternoon. There's a dining table, 6 comfortable chairs (2 of which recline), and 2 loungers on the terrace; 
The perfect place for alfresco breakfasts in the morning; 
The perfect place to “spread yourselves out” during the day; 
The perfect place for a romantic candle-lit dinner in the evening ‘till late.
The large area provided by the terrace and our private lawn can be rendered 'child-friendly' by the easy erection of the provided trellises to cover the openings in the front garden wall,  and a gate to guard the steps down to pool-side.  
Our very young guests find the unique water features just down those steps, such as the meandering canals and underwater jacuzzi deck-chairs, a delight to play in.   Shade can be provided by our thatched cabannahs when required !

The main pool area is breath-taking. It is an exotic mix of beauty, tranquillity and fun. The sound of 20 waterfalls and fountains fill the air like music, whilst the fragrances from the sub-tropical flowers all around fill it with scent. The combined effect promotes that special feeling of 'well-being' and relaxation.

My guests have full & free access to MAR AZUL's own leisure club comprising heated indoor pool, fully-equipped gym, spa, jacuzzi, sauna, solarium, steam-rooms, & thermal baths. There is a treatment centre for sporting injuries offering massage, osteopathy, reflexology, chiropractics & acupuncture etc, and a beauty salon offering cellulite reduction, body peels, mud & seaweed wraps etc. MAR AZUL has it's own cafe bar & pool bar (open peak times) offering high quality food at very reasonable prices. From my apartment it's a 2 minute amble to the beach, via the side of the main pool, across the front garden & promenade, and down a few steps to the beach. Next door to MAR AZUL, only 2 minutes walk along the beach, is the world-famous ESTEPONA KEMPINSKI RESORT HOTEL, providing 5* facilities including pool-side restaurants & bars. And just beyond that is the exotic and totally unique 'Laguna village', a unique concept of high-class bars, renowned cafes, exclusive restaurants, chic boutiques, an exclusive beach-club, and swimming lagunes built RIGHT ON THE BEACH ! It can be a hard choice between a characterful dining experience with live music in Cruiso's beach-bar, or a gourmet extravaganza in the supremely luxurious 5-superior-star Kempinski Hotel, or somewhere between in the choice of restaurants in the Laguna Village, but likely all three will play their own role during your varied holiday here at MAR AZUL. There are two tennis clubs within a 15 min. drive. Both offer tuition, and one has a swimming pool. Of all the major attractions along the coast of the Costa del Sol, lovely Estepona town stands out from the crowd, and it's only 5 minutes in a taxi from MAR AZUL, or a 30 minute walk either along the beach, or past the supermarket along an extremely attractive tree-lined boulevard with lovely fountains and borders full of flowers. Estepona is the focal point of this luxury resort area because of it’s authentic and unspoilt Andalusian ambiance. The promenade here is a joy to walk along, with beach-bars, fountains, sun-shelters, and children's playgrounds everywhere! And where else would you come across an area of exercise machines FOR ADULTS ONLY ! We've quite often walked along the beach from MAR AZUL, and along this beautiful promenade, to the characterful Estepona Marina. Here there's a great atmosphere around the water-edge bars, cafes and restaurants, particularly on a Sunday when the market's on. 5 minutes walk beyond the Marina is one of the nicest beaches you'll find anywhere. The sand slopes down very gradually into the Sea, so it's very safe for kids. There are a couple of beach-bars, and plenty of loungers & umbrellas. The walk back through the back streets of Estepona is enchanting. We think we know it well, until we discover another quaint narrow cobbled street leading to yet another pretty square surrounded by tapas bars, cafes, and superb sea-food restaurants. The hurried way of life we lead today can inflict all manner of strains and pressures, not only on our bodies, but on our mind and soul. Mar Azul offers you an opportunity to reset your perspectives, revitalise your mentality, & restore your personal feeling of well-being. Be warned though, this may involve some serious pampering!

Cancellation policy:

In the event of a holiday needing to be cancelled, I ask to be advised as soon as possible, whereupon I will use my best endeavours to re-let. If I can re-let, I will return your deposit, less any expenses incurred for additional advertising etc. I strongly advise that cancellation insurance is taken out.

Deposits:

30% deposit on booking, balance payable 8 weeks before holiday

Other Fees:

A £100.00 'damage deposit' is charged, which is fully refunded if the apartment is left in good order. Price includes all electricity used. There are no meters. Price includes full & unlimited access to the leisure centre.

Other policies:

I am happy to negotiate special terms for extended winter holidays, such as 4 weeks for the price of 3 !
