the famous poet's graveyard is only a few miles away in Drumcliffe, en
route to Sligo town (10 miles). Watersports, horse riding and
championship golf can be played at Co. Sligo (Rosses Point) and
Strandhill Golf clubs, each 15 miles away. Small shop and pub ½ mile,
restaurants & supermarket 3 miles.Ground floor: Living room
with beams and wooden floor. Kitchen with French doors/dining room.
Utility room. 4 bedrooms with wooden floors: 2 double, one with
en-suite shower room with toilet, one with additional single, 2 twin.
Bathroom with bath, shower cubicle and toilet. First floor: Games room

County Sligo has a fine variety of mountains, lake and coastal scenery. In the west of the county the Oxmountains form a background to the coastal plain, while north of Sligo town the landscape is dominated by steep-sided and flat-topped limestone hills. Near Sligo town, beautiful Lough Gill, can be seen, the lake isle of innisfree immortalised in the Yeats' poem.
For the holiday maker in Sligo there are seaside resorts such as Strandhill, golf at Rosses Point and other centers, excellent lake and river angling, hill climbing and many other interesting activities. Knocknarea Mountain is well worth a climb on a good day,even the children would be able.
