Villa and apartment rentals in Mallorca - Spain

Villa and apartment rentals in Mallorca - Spain

Mallorca enjoys Mediterranean weather, with mild winters and hot summers and each season has something unique to offer visitors to the island. During July and August, the weather is both hot and sunny and there are nearly 11 hours of sun each day.

These sunny, hot months and generally wonderful weather tend to be the peak of the tourist season in Mallorca. Fewer sunny days occur in November, December and January, when Mallorca is at its most quiet, although the island is still attractive at this time of the year, with fine, mild weather on most days.

Mallorca boasts a huge selection of fabulous beaches ranging from quaint coves to the massive beaches serving the popular holiday resorts. Indeed as you arrive at Palma airport you are just a few minutes away from the resorts of Can Pastilla and El Arenal where a beautiful 6km beach makes up what is known as the Playa de Palma.

Despite Mallorca sitting in the Mediterranean, seafood is often imported. Olives and almonds are very typical of the Mallorcan diet. The island now has over 4 million almond and olive trees. Among the food items that can be truly stated as being Mallorquin are sobrassada, arros brut -saffron rice cooked with chicken, pork and vegetables and, for the sweet lover, ensaïmada.

Rental properties are easy to find if you search on the Internet. It is best to go self catering for the best cultural experience. Self catering apartments or house rentals direct from the rental properties owner will usually be the most affordable.

Whether you are looking for a long or short term rental, you should be able to find your ideal property in Mallorca. Contact the property owner direct for more information.

Be sure to check with Self Property Rental if the type of apartment, villa, house, cottage or condo you are looking for is available.
